Amyloidosis Research Consortium
Newton , MA
Erin Poyant has nearly 25 years of experience in research, spanning roles in clinical trial coordination, regulatory management, and clinical laboratory oversight across various hospitals and research groups. As the Senior Manager of Education and Awareness at the Amyloidosis Research Consortium (ARC); Erin leads educational initiatives and awareness campaigns for various forms of amyloidosis. Her personal connection to the disease, through her late father who passed away in 2020 due to the V122i variation of hereditary amyloidosis, fuels her commitment to improving patient outcomes through strategic partnerships and community outreach. Recently, she founded #hattrnextgen™ to spread awareness about hereditary amyloidosis to the younger Black community through the use of social platforms. Erin’s work at ARC reflects her commitment to the fight against amyloidosis, by contributing to a team highly dedicated to advancing research, education, and patient care.
