Autumn Zuckerman, PharmD, BCPS, CSP is the Director of Health Outcomes and Research at Vanderbilt Specialty Pharmacy, Vanderbilt University Medical Center. In this role, she leads a team of pharmacists and researchers in studying the specialty patient journey. Through strategic collaborations, Dr. Zuckerman and team utilize research findings to drive innovative, evidence-based practices changes that improve patient care. Using peer-reviewed publications, presentations, and podcasts, the VSP team has repeatedly demonstrated the benefit of the health-system specialty pharmacy model in helping patients access and maintain on specialty medications. She is also an affiliate professor at University of Tennessee College of Health Sciences, Lipscomb University College of Pharmacy, and Belmont University College of Pharmacy. Dr. Zuckerman received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Samford University McWhorter School of Pharmacy, then completed two years of ASHP-accredited residency training at the Tennessee Valley Healthcare System VA, specializing in ambulatory care. She has received several awards including the Distinguished Service Award for the Section of Specialty Pharmacy Practitioners of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists and the Samford University McWhorter School of Pharmacy Carl Wayne Shaddix Pharmacy Practitioner of Excellence Award.
